A versatile tool for a unique wellness

The techniques of head massage can be applied both by masseurs and by hairdressers: it is in fact an operation that combines the practical side (the washing of the hair) the most related to relaxation (massage as a way to get psychophysical well-being). As the cervical massage and that of the feet, the head massage is part of a series of specific techniques for a certain part of the body. The treatment shown in this course is used to stretch the skin of the skull and face, working on the superficial musculature to give a feeling of relaxation that for the recipient seems to be total.
The objectives of this video course are:

• analyze the 57 different techniques by type

• deepen the massage technique both from the point of view of the masseur and the hairdresser

• illustrate the treatment carried out on both bed and washbasin

• seize the operational differences between customers with thick hair or customers with shaved head

• refine a study methodology that allows the interaction between different operating areas (masseur-hairdresser-beautician)

Content of the video course of head massage

DVDs of Corpo Mente Spirito are built with a logic of interactivity to allow the student to view and analyze each technique in its singularity. Each technical and marked by a number (all techniques are also listed on the leaflet attached to the package) and every time it is performed, even during the treatment complete, it is displayed in the corner of the screen. In this way it is possible to carry out a selective study and targeted to the technique you most want to deepen. The subtitle function was also used to indicate the name of each technique in the 3 languages of the video course. The shooting are made in a way to highlight the most significant aspects of the movement to be learned/deepened.
We chose non to accompany the images with the comment spoken because we believe that they are explanatory.

1. THEORETICAL PRESENTATION
   Introduction by the author, the teacher Vittorio Piacenza, massoterapista, master of Shiatsu, expert of techniques of the western and eastern massage and of MTC.
2. TECHNIQUES
   Given the particularity of this type of massage (achievable both on the bed and at the sink of the hairdresser) each technique is taken 4 times:
   
   • to the sink on thick hair
   • to the sink on shaved head
   • on the cot on thick hair
   • on the table on shaved head
   The distinction between thick hair and shaved head has a dual purpose: didactic, as without hair it is easier to understand the movements than the hands must do, and specific, because some maneuvers that you do on the hair can not be done on a shaved head and vice versa.
   The techniques are 57 and are divided into the following sections:
     - Techniques on the head
     - Techniques on the neck
     - Techniques on the face
3. COMPLETE CONTACT
   The complete treatment is divided, as every technique, in 4 parts:
   
   • Treatment at the SINK on thick hair
   • SINK treatment on shaved head
   • Treatment on COT on thick hair
   • Treatment on COT on shaved head
